Important! MCM is recognized by CCS and CGC

In order to further meet the diversified certification needs of customers’ battery products and enhance the endorsement strength of the products, through the unremitting efforts of MCM, at the end of April, we have successively obtained China Classification Society (CCS) laboratory accreditation and China General Certification Center(CGC) contracted laboratory authorization. MCM focuses on providing customers with pre-product certification and testing services and broadens the scope of capabilities, and will provide customers with a wider range of services in the field of energy storage.

Brief Introduction of CCS

China Classification Society CCS was established in 1956 and is headquartered in Beijing. It is a full member of the International Association of Classification Societies. It provides technical specifications and standards for ships, offshore installations and related industrial products, and provides classification inspection services. It also complies with international conventions, rules and relevant laws and regulations of authorized flag states or regions to provide statutory inspection, authentication inspection, fair inspection, certification and accreditation services.

The scope of approval of MCM includes battery cells, modules, battery management systems (BMS) (GD22-2019) for pure battery-powered ships, and lead-acid batteries for ship lighting, communication and starting (E-06(201909)), etc.

Brief Introduction of CGC

China General Certification Center(CGC) abbreviated as “Jian Heng”was approved by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) in 2003 and is a professional organization dedicated to technical services such as the testing and certification of renewable energy products. It occupies half of the domestic wind energy and solar product certification fields, and at the same time, it is constantly expanding the foreign certification in this field.

The scope of MCM accreditation covers all projects in the battery field within the scope of CNAS accreditation, and we can provide customers with comprehensive testing and certification services for power storage projects.

In 2021, MCM will continue to improve the certification and testing capabilities of energy storage products under the guidance of the “pure development” business philosophy in the field of professional services. Now we can help customers complete North American certification, CB certification, S-Mark certification, CEC certification, and KC certification, VDE certification, CGC certification and CCS certification.

MCM will continue to develop and expand energy storage certification qualifications and continue to improve the energy storage product certification service platform, paving the way for the sales of customers’ energy storage products in various regions and fields, and solving obstacles and problems encountered in certification testing for customers.
