Overview

TISI issued the latest AV mandatory standard TIS 62368 PART 1-2563 on May 31^st, replacing the original TIS 1195-2536. Before the launching date, there’s a complicated procedure:

On March 2^nd 2021, Thailand issues TIS 1195-2561 replacing TIS 1195-2536, and became effective on August 29^th.

On June 10^th, TISI host a consultancy conference for TIS 62368 standard, and ended on July 16^th, collecting many concerns and feedbacks.

On August 27^th, the new standard TIS 1195-2561 went invalid, while TIS 1195-2536 continue to be effective.

Scope

The new standard covers products of below:

3. speaker

4. Disc player

5. Game console

6. Radio microphone receiver

7. Radio receiver

8. Television receiver

9.Satellite signal receiver

10. Speaker and amplifier

11. Signal converter

12.Signal processor

13. Audio mixer

14. Electronic instrument

15.Media player/Audio and video player

16. Internet audio/video receiver

17. Cable television receiver

18. Audio and video converter

19. The adapters for No.1-NO.18

20. Adapters for smart phone and tablet.

Among these products, the 1-19 will be listed as mandatory on December 21^st 2022, and No.20 will be on October 17^th 2023.

Notice:

• Batteries and cells shipped alone should get through TIS 2217 certification. Only those batteries and cells shipped with end products are free from TIS 2217 and TIS 62368 PART 1-2563 for end products are required only.
• TIS 62368 requires 2 samples for each model.
• Model name, classification, voltage, radio frequency, current and product name will be listed on certificates. Therefore various model names hardly exist on one certificate.
