What is MIC certification?

Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam stipulated that from October 1^st, 2017, all batteries used in mobile phones, tablets and laptops must get DoC (Declaration of Conformity) approval before imported into Vietnam. Then from July 1^st, 2018, it requires local testing in Vietnam. MIC stipulated that all regulated products (including batteries) shall get PQIR for clearance when imported into Vietnam. And SDoC is required for submission when applying for PQIR.
