The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam stipulated that from October 1st, 2017, all batteries used in mobile phones, tablets and laptops must obtain Vietnam MIC certification and DoC (Declaration of Conformity) approval before being imported into Vietnam. Then from July 1st, 2018, it requires local testing in Vietnam.
According to MIC certification regulations, all regulated products (including batteries) shall get PQIR for clearance when imported into Vietnam. An SDoC is required for submission when applying for PQIR, which is part of professional MIC certification services provided by MCM.
