EAC (Eurasian Conformity) certification is a mandatory mark proving that products meet the safety, health, and technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). it is required for customs clearance and legal sale of various goods, including machinery and electronics, for Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.

Custom Union (Таможенный союз) is an international organization, with member countries of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
To make the trading smooth among members and erase the technical barrier to trade, they reached the agreement on October 18th 2010 to guarantee the unified standard. This is the source of CU TR. Products that pass the certification should be marked with EAC logo.
Since January 1st Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has launched, replacing Custom Union.
