On April 23, 2026, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the Announcement on Implementing the “One List, One Database” Management for the Accreditation of Inspection and Testing Institutions (No. 14 [2026]), which makes major adjustments to the scope of accreditation for inspection and testing institutions and the use of the CMA mark.
Starting from June 1, 2026, inspection and testing reports for items not included in the national “One List, One Database” scope shall no longer use the CMA mark.
To ensure the continuity of testing business, for projects where inspection and testing entrustment contracts have been formally signed before June 1, 2026, inspection and testing reports with the CMA mark affixed may continue to be issued within the validity period of the original accreditation certificate.
In response to policy changes, our company will appropriately adjust the conditions for using the CMA mark:
For new entrustment contracts signed with our company after June 1 that are not included in the “One List, One Database”, the CMA mark will no longer be marked on the test reports. However, our testing capabilities, technical processes, and quality control standards will remain unchanged, and our company shall bear full legal responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of the report data.
For entrustment contracts signed with our company before June 1, if they belong to the standard testing items for which our company has CMA qualification, the CMA mark may still be used on the issued test reports.
Currently, UN 38.3 is not included in the “One List, One Database” list. Our company’s UN 38.3 reports will be implemented in accordance with the above provisions. If you have any questions, please contact our company’s liaison personnel for consultation.
