Background

On July 19th 2022, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology release the latest GB 4943.1-2022 Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment – Part 1: Safety requirement. The new standard will be implemented on August 1st 2023, replacing GB 4943.1-2011 and GB 8898-2011. For products that already certified with GB 4943.1-2011, applicant may refer to the collection of differences between the old and new standard, so as to prepare for update of new standard.
